Karen passed away April 26, 2021 in Ocala, Florida. She was the wife of the late John “Mike” Dunne who preceded her on October 6, 2020. Karen was a native of Battle Creek, Michigan and a resident of Belleview, Florida. Karen and John were married in 1965. Karen spent 45 years as a teacher in Christian education, including 10 ½ years in Europe while John was stationed there. She served locally at Ocala Christian Academy, Belleview Christian Academy, and Village View Christian Academy. She touched countless lives through her years of service in children's ministries throughout the world. She was an active member of the Belleview First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, Team Kids, and Vacation Bible School. Survivors included Karen’s sons: John A Dunne (Gina), Sean P. Dunne, Thomas A. Dunne (Melissa); daughters: Dawn M. Andrews (Tim), Tonya L. Grzybowski (Kevin), and Wanda K. Dominguez (Nathanael); 18 grandchildren: Anna, Destiny, Selene, Blake, Kaitlin, Olivia, Sydney, Kristin, Isabell, Miranda, Micah, Stilyan, Brett, Karalin, Severina, Yulia, Samantha, Radostina; brothers: Jack Denney, David Denney, Richard Denney; sister: Mary Erskine; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and John, Karen was preceded in death by her daughters: Rhonda M. Zierden and Sonya R. Dunne; sister, Phyllis Fleming; brothers: Lloyd Denney, Jr. and Steve Denney; and  grandson: David A. Dunne.
