I met Tom when I moved to Battle Creek my sophomore year.  We were neighbors in Urbandale and became good friends.  He was a great guy with a warm demeanor.  I was very saddened to hear of this passing.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Carolyn and his family.  RIP, good buddy!
