Jonathan Marc Palmiter*.  Jonathan passed away on May 3, 2016 in San Diego, CA.  He was a native of Battle Creek and a resident of Jacumba Hot Springs, CA. at the time of his death.  Shortly after graduating high school, Jonathan joined the Air Force.  After leaving the Air Force, Jonathan went to work for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center and was there 35 years until retiring in 2003.  At age 22, Jonathan married classmate Betty Favorite and together they had two daughters—Carissa and Mary.  Jonathan and Betty divorced and he later married and divorced Carol Cheslog.  He was single at the time of his death.  Known survivors included his daughters, ex-wives and extended family members.
