Frank I Paul III

Frank I. Paul III. Frank passed away on September 5, 2019 in Knoxville, Tennessee. After high school, Frank continued his education, taking classes at Kellogg Community College, and later at colleges in Louisiana and Texas. Frank worked for many years as a mechanic repairing pumps and compressors, initially with Union Pump Co. in Battle Creek and later in the oilfields in Louisiana and Texas. In 1967, Frank married the former Miss Carey Covington. They divorced in 1970. In 1982, while living and working in the Shreveport, Louisiana area, Frank met and married Judy Davis; she survives. Around 2000, Judy and Frank moved to the Knoxville, Tennessee area. Frank enjoyed exploring the Smokie Mountains and hiking the Appalachian Trail. He was also an avid reader.  Frank liked to repair and tinker with mechanical items large and small. His hobbies included building model cars and target shooting. In addition to Judy and her son, survivors included his sister Evelyn Lennart (she passed away on May 9, 2020) and her husband Gary; Frank’s brother, John and his wife Denise; and several nieces and nephews.  Frank’s final contribution to the betterment of mankind was donation of his body to science.

I am sorry to hear of Frank's passing.  I remember passing him in the halls of BCHS, and he would always smile with that winning smile of his.  It was great way to start the day, if we saw each other in the morning. 
May his family be strong in this time of great loss.  Frank will hold a special place in my memories.
