Thomas Dwight Stephens

Thomas Dwight Stephens. Tom passed away on October 4, 2019 at his home in the Lehigh Acres community near Fort Myers, Florida. He was a native of Battle Creek, Michigan. Following high school, Tom attended and graduated Michigan State University, then did post-graduate studies at Western Michigan University. Tom’s career centered on special education. He worked for years in the Battle Creek, Albion and Hastings, Michigan areas until retiring in the early 2000s. After retiring, Tom moved to Florida and, among other activities, mentored at a private school in Florida. He enjoyed gardening and doing projects around his home. Tom did not marry or have any children. He is survived by his brother James C. Stephens.

I don't know how I missed this?!?!  So sorry to hear of Tom's passing.  I always considered him one of the nicest guys!!!  Very kind and caring.  I must of had a crush on him at one time.  When tearing off some paneling in our bathroom a few years back I had his name in a heart with a permanent marker!!!
