Robb B Campbell

Robb B. Campbell.  Robb passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at his home in Bedford, MI. He was a native of Plainwell, Michigan. Robb attended Battle Creek and Gull Lake schools and achieved his GED while serving in the U.S. Navy. He was an Eagle Scout and a gifted artist who collected antique and classic cars. Robb worked at Ralston for 16 years and was a journeyman bricklayer for over 40 years. Following his retirement he frequented auctions and garage sales looking for deals. Robb's first marriage to Vicki Iden ended in divorce and he was later married to Susan A. Jenkins on November 22, 1967. Survivors included his wife, Susan A. Campbell; two children: Clinton (Lois) Campbell and Maureen Campbell; one grandson: Jacob Campbell; sister: Dr. Amy (John) Foulks; and mother-in-law: Maureen Jenkins of Battle Creek. Robb was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jon Campbell.

I have such fond memories of Robb. He sat behind me in English class...way in the back.  We drew hot rod cars together and learned much English as well of course. Actually, he drew the cars and I drew the crazy monsters that drove them. I think of him and I smile.  Good times.  What a sad loss.
