Donna Joy Evers (Williams)

Donna Joy Evers Williams. Donna passed away on March 29, 2004 in Tacoma, Washington after a lengthy illness. She was not a native of Battle Creek, but lived there from 1962-1989. Donna worked for the Battle Creek public school system as a Teacher’s Assistant and retired in 1989. She and her husband Clarence Williams were owners of Williams Auto Body in Battle Creek. In 1989, Donna moved to Tacoma, Washington, where she lived until her death. Survivors included her daughters, Lisa D. (Williams) Abernathy, Clarissa D. (Williams) Blackwell; her son, Clarence C. Williams Jr. of Battle Creek, MI.; three sisters, Bertha Gibson, Lillian Dillard and Margret Daniels; seven grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Williams, son Quinten D. Williams, and daughter, Michelle D. Williams.
