William Hill

William “Bill” Lee Hill.  Bill passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home. He was a native and resident of Battle Creek, Michigan.  Bill served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as a mechanic and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant.  He was the owner and operator of Central Michigan Cycle and was an expert Triumph mechanic. He later worked for the Community Action Agency and was also the founder of the Community Garage/Community Motor Center. He believed in helping people to help themselves, and through his work he assisted many people who were in need with reliable transportation to allow them to provide for their families. He had a love for animals and he also enjoyed restoring classic cars and motorcycles in his spare time.  Survivors included his son, Timothy L. Hill; daughters, Michelle (Chris) Larsen, Shannon Hill (Joseph McKinney III), and Amie (Hill) Williams; grandchildren Kyle, Cory, Tyler, Drew, Breanna, Brooklynn, Jordan, Amiyah, Jaden and Joseph IV, and two great grandchildren Madison and Kaden; brothers Fred (Diane)Hill and Phil (Theresa)Hill; sister Jill (Al) Struble. and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family that loved him.
