Ronald Maynard Mathis

Ron passed away on January 15, 2024. He was a native of Battle Creek, Michigan and a resident of Maineville, Ohio. Ron continued his education after high school, graduating from Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a degree in Business Administration. Ron served his country in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. In 1967, he married the former Elizabeth Ann (Betsy) Browning. In 1970, Ron joined Clark Equipment Company. He held various positions as Purchasing Manager, Corporate Commodity Manager and Director of Procurement in Battle Creek, Georgetown, Kentucky and Buchannan, Michigan. He left Clark Equipment in 1994 to join Xomox Corporation, a Business Unit of Emerson Electric, in Cincinnati Ohio as Director of Strategic Procurement. Ron retired in May 2013. Survivors included his wife Betsy; children Lisa (Chris) Serwicki and Biff (Jenna) Mathis; grandchildren Zach Jones, Holly Jones, Kaleb Brown, Keira Mathis, Emery Mathis, and Brooks Mathis; and his brother Len (JoAnn) Mathis.
