Carolyn Williams Jeffers

Since graduation I married Fred 9/3/66 and we have had 48 and counting years together. We have been fortunate to have given birth to two great kids and were blessed to be able to step in and raise two of my sisters girls after she died in 1974. We have moved to Florida and back and Fred was fortunate to get rehired into Kellogg where he served 33 years and now we are enjoying retirement. When we decided it was time to down size our home we sold our home in Battle Creek and moved over to South Haven in 2009. We have been fortunate to have been able to do some travel around our country and have taken a couple of trans ocean cruises. We spend our winters in Panama City Beach, Fla. where we spent Spring break vacation with our kids all while they were growing up.


My hobbies include decorative painting, which I have done some charity painting for the Painted Chair Affair held in B.C., I do some watercolor painting but am not to serious about it, I have gone through a phase of making beaded jewelry and I do some crochet. We enjoy spending time with out kids and grand babies, we have enjoyed boating for many years and love being at the waters edge as well as on the water.

Update 2022: We have relocated back to South Haven , MI, we lived here for seven years then moved to Richland to be closer to our children and grandchildren. Sadly we lost our son in 2016 before we got moved over to Richland. Our daughter who lived in Kalamazoo moved out to Utah a year and a half ago so we decided we might as well be back where we love to be and that is what we did last July. We continue to enjoy three months during the winter down in Panama City Beach, Fla. Fred and I both enjoy fairly good health, just 75 years of life bring a few minor issues. 😁. We fortunately avoided getting COVID, are fully vaccinated and hope to stay well.

I guess the most significant thing I can say about high school is that I met my life partner who I have shared 55 years of marriage with him and three years of dating. Also I had several good friends, some of who I still see or keep in touch with.

Carolyn is semi-retired from Plastic Surgery Kalamazoo, working 1 day a week with winters off. She enjoys decorative painting and painting watercolors. Is a member of Mich Grapevine Decorative Painters (currently president) and a member of B.C. Artists Soc. Carolyn is married to Fred Jeffers. They have 3 children: Jennifer, assoc. research tech @ Pfizer; Patrick, part-time fire/Springfield & paramedic/Lifecare; and Angela, full time mom to 4 children. Carolyn is married to Fred Jeffers. We enjoy spending our winters in Panama City, FL. Have traveled extensively out west and enjoy cruising to exotic ports.
