Our friendship started when we sat next to each other in the cornet section at W.K. Kellogg, and then continued for going on 65 years. We were in each others weddings, I sat across from him when we both worked at Transamerica Insurance, and through the years kept in touch. I will miss him, but wish his wonderful family comfort and God-speed.

I feel like a part of our growing up is now gone. From early Jr. Hi, Mike, Jim, Gerry Story, Tom Lusk and I spent most of our time with each other. First, it was riding bicycles and then cars. We were quite a group, playing golf, poker, crusing, and doing all the stuff that was typical 60's, including the usual dose of mischief. Of course girlfriends were part of this too. We grew up and got old too soon it seems. Some stayed and others moved on - Gery went to California, and I joined the Navy and really did see the world. We lost touch for a long stretch of time, but held on to the memories. Gettting together at our 50th reunion was a time that was truely special. Everybiody made it except Gerry. We all led our own lives but thankfully we came together for a wonderful moment in time that will never be forgotten. Jim led a wonderful life filled with love, friends, family and adventure. We all shared so much and I'll always treasure the time spent together. Rest in peace good friend. Terry
