Sharon Jean Bradshaw Byrne.  Sharon passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly on July 9, 2000. She was married for 29 years to Peter Byrne, her pen pal, whom she started writing to while in 10th grade at Central. Peter was from England and passed away in 1998. Sharon traveled and lived in England, returning to Battle Creek in 1998 after living in Ceres, California, for 13 years. She was employed for 1 1/2 years by McCamly Plaza Hotel as a PBX operator at the front desk. She has three children: Paul, John and James and 4 grandchildren. Sharon loved being a member of North Avenue Church of God. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, knitting and crafts.
