Calvin Dwight Brooker.  Calvin died August 3, 1992. He served in the Navy from 1967 - 1970, seeing duty in Vietnam. He lived in California while in the service and moved to Oklahoma for 15 years before returning to Battle Creek in 1989. After returning to Battle Creek, Calvin was an industrial maintenance supervisor for Custom Converting in Schoolcraft. He was a member of Maple United Methodist Church and was an avid bicycle and Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider. He was a HAM radio operator. Calvin had a vast music collection and also collected model trains, cars, and fire engines. He also was an animal lover. He was married to the former Sandra K. Durbin. He has 2 sons, Dylan and Donny.
