Lillie Mae Burke Hueckel.  Lillie was tragically found dead of gunshot wounds at her home in Battle Creek on August 18, 1985.  She was a native of Dayton, TN. and moved to Battle Creek in 1962.  Lillie had been employed by Post Division of General Foods Corp. for 11 ½ years preceding her death.  Survivors included sons, Robert S. and Donald E. Hueckel; her mother, Orpha B. Burke; brothers, Robert, Walter, Loren and James Burke; and sisters, Pauline Butcher, Alma Burke, Thelma L Coners, Mary E. Harris, Barbara Broughton and Audrey Mora.
