Carolyn June Cox (Frost)

      Carolyn June Cox Frost

Carolyn passed away on January 23, 2021 in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was a native of Monterey, Tennessee and a resident of Otsego, Michigan. In 1964, Carolyn married Keith Cushman, a union that ended in divorce. Carolyn later married Duane Densmore, a union that also ended in divorce. In 1997, Carolyn married Donald “Frosty” Frost. Upon graduating from high school, she went on to further her education, and began a career with Eaton Corporation, where she eventually retired as a Core Administrator. Carolyn had strong family ties. She was adored by all who knew her. Carolyn didn’t let the grass grow under her feet, she loved camping and fishing, taking walks with her sisters, and when the weather in Michigan started to get a little chilly, she and Frosty would head to Florida for the winter. She was an avid reader and an accomplished writer, penning many a poem. She enjoyed trips to the casino, but, for Carolyn, her favorite place and times were when she was surrounded by her family, who completely filled her with happiness and joy. Her hugs, sense of adventure, compassionate ways, and smiling face will be missed by those who had the privilege of being a part of her life. Survivors included Carolyn’s husband, Donald “Frosty” Frost; her children LeAnn (Ken) Crouch, Brad (Sonya) Cushman, Ben (Julie) Cushman, and Kathy (Jimmy) Carlin; step-children Kenny (Tiffany) Frost, April (Joe) Wesner, and David (Ronda) Frost; and former husband Duane. She will also be missed by nineteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren who she completely adored; her siblings Barb (Don) Butcher, Eva (David) May, Brenda (Bob) May, and Bob (Dot) Cox; and a host of nieces and nephews. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents Willie and Dorothy Cox; her son, Brian Cushman; granddaughter Alysse Cushman; siblings Marland Cox and Lucille Rodriguez; brother-in-law Charles L. Frost; sister-in-law LaVerne Frost; and former husband Keith.
