Linda Carol Dreams

      Linda Carol Dreams

Linda passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025 at Nathan Adleman Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a native and resident of Battle Creek, Michigan. Linda worked for many years at V.C. Squire, as well as at Henry’s Stripping. A woman of many interests, Linda loved to travel with her sister Annette and brother-in-law Edward Henry across the country. She enjoyed bowling, word puzzles, going to the casino and football. Whether it was Michigan State or Michigan, she always cheered for whichever team her family happened to support that day. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the movies, watching “The Price is Right,” “Let’s Make a Deal,” and on quiet evenings, watching Lifetime movies and reading novels. Linda was more than an aunt, sister and friend; she was a second mother to countless children in Battle Creek. Families entrusted their little ones to her care, whether it was for an hour or several days. Linda embraced each child with love as if they were her own. Her nurturing spirit and kindness left a lasting imprint on everyone she touched. Survivors included Linda’s beloved sisters Annette Henry and Sheila White, Rita McCoy, Tanya Peavy, Karen Wilks, Michele Grayer, and Sheryl Gordon; brother Jerry Dreams; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her deeply. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister Gail Dreams and nephews Michael Dreams, Gregory McCoy and Brandon Henry. Linda will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family and community. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished. Follow the link below to view Linda's full obituary.
