Gary Wayne Keown   Gary passed away on March 12, 2015 at his home in Vernon, Florida.  He was a native of Benton Harbor, Michigan.  After graduating high school, Gary served our country in the U.S. Army.  He moved from Battle Creek to Vernon in 1995 to be near family there.  Survivors included Gary’s wife Wanda; his brother Arthur; niece Michelle (Jimmy) Cook, nephew Allen (Jessica) Keown, great nieces Brittany, Abby, Ally and Anna Keown; and great nephews Benjamin Keown and David Cook.  In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his cousin and BCCHS classmate John Keown in 2011.
