William Martin Lovik.  William passed away in Austin, Texas on May 9, 2005 following a short battle with cancer.  He was formerly from Battle Creek, but had lived in Texas for many years.  William attended college and was a teacher for a while.  After teaching, he worked in the residential construction industry.  At the time of his death, his work was grading SAT and ACT tests administered in Texas.  William loved boating and baseball and had an extensive collection of baseball cards.  He was of the Lutheran faith.  William never married.  The closest survivors included aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
