
Eric Duane Mowrey. Eric was killed on March 14, 1975 when his car skidded off W. Dickman Road and hit a chunk of concrete in Ft. Custer Industrial Park. He was a native of Battle Creek and had resided in Augusta for five years. He was employed as a machinist by the Clark Equipment Co. of Springfield. He was an Army veteran, serving in Vietnam, and was a member of Redemption Lutheran Church in Battle Creek. Survivors included his widow, the former Ann Daly; sons, Timothy John and Eric Duane Mowrey II; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey L. Mowrey, and a brother, Ronald L. Mowrey.
