Steven H. O’Connell.  Steven died suddenly on December 6, 2003.  Steve was a native of Battle Creek.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany in 1966.  Steven enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, building model cars, watching movies with his family and was an avid NASCAR fan.  He was a great man who liked to build anything.  Survivors included a son Stephen O’Connell; a daughter Sherry Risner; 4 grandchildren Ashley Nicole, Charles Rodick, Kristopher and Cheyenne; a brother Richard (Carol) O’Connell; a sister Mickey (Jack) Heston; a half-sister Jane (Lou) Neubert and many loving nieces and nephews.
