Diane N. Orton.  Diane passed away on November 29, 2012 at the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence in Battle Creek. She was a native of Battle Creek. Diane worked for many years at Michigan Bell Telephone Company and later managed adult foster care homes. Diane had a love for her animals.   Survivors included her brother Gene (Phyllis) Orton; several nieces and nephews; and close friends: Ruth Bayn, Mary Maison, Peggy Weipert, Marge Yother and Annette Zalner.  Diane was preceded in death by her brother Brian Orton and sister-in-law Jackie Orton.
