Lorenzo Robinson

Lorenzo Robinson.  Lorenzo died May 7, 2004 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamzaoo.  At the time of his death, he had been married to our classmate, Jessie Wynne, for 30 years. He retired from Grand Trunk Railroad as a conductor after 25 years. Lorenzo enjoyed playing chess and being an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren and being involved with New Level Sports.  Survivors included his wife, Jessie M. Robinson; children, Wanda Ke, Katherine (Rick) Smith, Lorenzo (Lasonja) Wynne, Kamila Brown (Thomas), Tron Robinson; special children, Marcellus (Janice) Wynne, Charlene (Kenneth) Willis, Deborah Wynne, Cletis Mathis, Antonio Wynne, DaMarcus Jones; 15 grand-children, 2 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Thomas (Priscilla) Robinson, Willie Ivory Robinson, Eddie B. Robinson, Diane Williams, Danny (Brenda) Williams, Brenda Lee Williams, Al Williams; aunts Mable Cathron and Macie Watkins; and his step-mother, Henrene Robinson.  Lorenzo was preceded in death by his father and mother, Elish and Thelma Robinson, and James Edward Robinson
