Patrick Leon Smith.  Patrick passed away on September 14, 2007 at Battle Creek Health System. He was a native and lifelong resident of Battle Creek. Patrick married Vicki Beckley on September 6, 1980 in Battle Creek. He served in the Army during the Vietnam Era as a Private First Class. Pat worked for the City of Battle Creek in the Waste Water Department. He liked to watch football and NASCAR. Pat enjoyed shooting pool, listening to jazz music and working in his yard.  Survivors included his wife, Vickie; mother, Juanita Smith; son, David Brown; sisters, Diana Ashley, Barbara Eanes; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and Pat's best bud, Lucky the dog.  He was preceded in death brother and sister, Jerry Smith and Ann Williams.
