All I was to Bev was a classmate. I do remember talking to her from time to time in the hallways at BCCHS. She was a very nice person. To me it seems her life was cut short, as to me... she had a lot more to give but was unable to fulfill it. I'm sorry for her families loss.

I can honestly say that Bev was one of my favorite people from about fourth grade on. She and Tom were two of my closest friends and we remained close until I went off after BCCHS to West Lafayette and attended Purdue. Then a few years after that, I got married and Tom and Bev were a big part of that. During the next 45 years, I didn’t see very much of Bev (or Tom). However in 2017, I had the great pleasure of spending several  hours with Bev at lunch at Pasche’s Lakeside in June and then Bev cooked a dinner for me, Lyn and Tom in November. I’m so glad I reconnected with Bev last year and we had so many cherished hours during these few meetings.

If there’s anything to be learned from this it is don’t wait too long to hook up with some of your dear friends. My last memories with Bev are the best.

I am so saddened to hear of Bev’s passing.  She was such a kind, always friendly, gal.  I so enjoyed visiting with her at our 50th reunion.  She hadn’t changed at all.  Bev left us way too early.  She will be missed.
