Lois Straubel (Robinson)

Lois Jean Straubel Robinson.  Lois passed away on July 15, 2000 in Battle Creek.  She was a native of Battle Creek and a resident there at the time of her death. After graduation, she attended Kellogg Community College for one year.  Lois was employed a short time at Steadman’s Grocery. Then, she worked for 33 years at State Farm Insurance Cos. in Marshall as a supervisor in the fire claims department.  She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church. Lois enjoyed bowling, camping and collecting Angel art. And, she was fond of following her 3 grandchildren’s sporting events.  Survivors included a son, Harold “Jim” Robinson; three grandchildren; and brothers, Willard “Butch” and Joseph R. Straubel.
