Charles Gregory Young

Charles (who went by the name Gregory) passed away on July 29, 2021. He was a native of Battle Creek, Michigan and a resident of Davison, Michigan. Gregory proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1969. He was employed with Hewlett Packard where he earned a Project Manager Certification. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and a member of Davison’s Bishop Albers Council 4090 and the Ardon F. Dubie Fourth Degree Assembly 0523. At the age of 70, Gregory achieved a Black Belt in Karate. Survivors included Gregory’s wife, Betty; 3 sons: Jeff Young, Matthew (Regina) Young and Mark Young; 2 step-children: Jim (Lesa) Krause and Melissa (Matt) Ehrmantraut; 2 grandchildren: Sydney Young and Andrew Young; 10 step-grandchildren: James, Nate, Brett, Kelsey, Alyssa, Matthew, Alex, Avery, Kaiya and Konrad; brother, Terry (Debbie) Young; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles T. and Beatrice Young; step-son, Kris Krause and brother, Richard Young.
