David Alan Hall

David Alan Hall

                               David Alan Hall Sr.

David passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was a native of Battle Creek, Michigan, and a resident of Battle Creek at the time of his passing. David joined the US Army in 1964 and completed his high school education while in the army. While serving in the Army, stationed in Germany, he became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After his return to the states, he met and married for time and all eternity Trudy (Dyer) Hall, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. David worked for General Motors as a skilled tradesman for 38 years, was a member of the Southwest Michigan Scottish Society and a lifetime member of DAV Chapter 7. A love of nature and the outdoors lead him to be actively involved with The Boy Scouts of America. A man of honor, he always strove to give the best of himself and never stopped learning. In addition to his wife, Trudy, survivors included five children; Xenia McKay, Teryl Hall, David Hall Jr., Aleia Cadieux, and Joshua Hall; and four grandchildren: Zachary Cadieux, Wyck, Embeth and Eloise Hall. David enjoyed his time with family and the church, and was happiest when he was serving his Lord.
