Marvin Paul Leask

     Marvin Paul Leask

Marvin passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. He had been ill suffering for some time. Through his many trials and tribulations in life, he came to know the Lord, which gave him great love for the whole family, which was received and reciprocated. Marvin was born in George, Iowa and was a resident of Battle Creek, Michigan. After high school, Marvin married Patricia Cebelak and had his only daughter, Loree Denise Leask. Loree always had a deep, faithful love for her father, even though they had little time together. Marvin was very adventurous, more of a "free spirit" while living in various states. He loved people and flirting with the girls. In his younger days, he enjoyed being fit - weight lifting, boxing, leather work, counseling, fixing things and a little surfing. Marvin went back to school at the age of 56 to learn air conditioning and refrigeration. He had lived in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and was a member of the Chippewa Tribe. Survivors included his daughter, Loree Denise Leask; mother, Margaret Leask; brothers: Rodger, Ronald and Doug; sister, Mary; nephews and nieces: Brian, Shane, Amy, Jennifer, Spencer and Craig Leask and Erin Zarembinski; many great nieces and nephews, as well as a couple of great greats. Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Edward and a nephew, John Edward Leask.
