Duane passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 at his home in the Snap Community in Panola County, TX. He was a native of Portsmith, NH. and lived in Washington DC and Michigan before the family moved to Memphis, TN. in 1964. Duane graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s Degree and later did graduate work at UT Tyler [TX]. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. Mr. Page married Janice Carol Posey on Apr. 27, 1985, in Houston. He moved to Panola County in 1991, from Houston and was a member of the Ebenezer U.M.C. Survivors included his mother, Marion Page [now deceased]; his wife, Janice Posey Page; one sister, Shelly Bauer and husband John; two brothers-in-law, Robert A. Posey and wife Mary Lou and Alfred Posey; one sister-in-law, Dona Scott; and numerous very special nieces and nephews. Duane was preceded in death by his father, Samuel T. Page; one sister-in-law, Sandra Posey; one brother-in-law, Jimmie Scott; two nephews, Douglas Wayne Freeman and Aaron Thane; and his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Posey.
