Charles Ray Terrell, Jr. Charles passed away on April 30, 2009 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Charles was a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan and moved with his family to Battle Creek around 1960. In 1964, he moved to the Pompano Beach, Florida area. At some point, he also lived in Norfolk, Virginia, Oak Island, North Carolina and Carolina Beach, North Carolina. Charles was involved in the housing construction business. He was married several times and with his first wife, Linda, had two children. Charles liked to fish, but his passion was with Moose Lodge #2157 in Pompano Beach. He served as “governor” seven times, and was extensively involved in caring for special needs children and related fund-raising and other events. Survivors included his wife Barbara; two sons, Lane and John Terrell; several grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Dean and Janet Jones; his step-father, Eugene Antuck; and his first wife, Linda.
