I spent 44 years teaching in BCPS, first as an 8th & 9th grade Biology teacher at WKK (20 yrs.) then as a a GED/Adult Ed teacher (24 yrs.) in the Calhoun County Correctional Facility. This year I decided I would take time to see what it would be like to not worry about count days and instead take a trip in the Fall or whenever, without being limited to the work schedule.

What we heard in 2000: Larry is teaching Adult Ed and ESL at the county jail after 30 years with the Battle Creek Public Schools. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he teaches a senior adult Sunday School class and sings in the choir. He loves reading, bass fishing, and holding his grandson, Nick, which isn't often, as he lives in Ohio. He and his wife, Joy, a registered nurse, have 2 adult children.

I am sorry that I must report that Juanita passed this Spring, there was no obituary, so that is all I can share at this time. Juanita is now home with the Savior she loved and those who knew her were blessed. If anyone can share more, please share. I plan on trying to contact her siblings.

Always enjoyed running into Tom, over the years, we had great times just talking and laughing about our lives, both good and bad times. Each time we met was a time to remember and look ahead to tomorrow. Tom was a great plumber and helped me out many times, his skill and laughter will be missed. Each of us will remember the good times.
